Al and Carol Hagen opened the shop in 1980 on commercial refrigeration. Their son Kyle Hagen runs it today, with a crew that answers the phone and shows up at your door.

It started with walk-in coolers and grew from there
In 1980, Al and Carol Hagen started A-One with a vision to serve the Tri-Cities with honest, dependable service. It began as a small commercial refrigeration business and grew as word spread about their commitment to quality and integrity.
Working in homes, the shop kept listening, and what it heard was a need for more trades under one roof. So A-One added cooling and heating, then electrical services, and now plumbing.
Honest work, dependable service: that's how A-One was built.
The real shift came when homeowners started asking the tough questions: "Why are my energy bills so high?" and "Why is the air in my own house making us sick?"
Patching the symptom was not the answer, so the shop invested in training and in diagnostics. Blower door testing and duct leakage testing let the crew measure how a home holds its air and how its ducts leak, instead of guessing at the cause.
Today A-One is owned and operated by Al and Carol's son, Kyle Hagen, who carries forward the same values his parents built the business on. The mission has not changed: always do the right thing.

Kyle Hagen, President
Kyle is Al and Carol's son and the owner of A-One today. He carries forward the values his parents built the business on, and he leads a team of licensed HVAC specialists, certified electricians and energy efficiency experts who share one goal: keep your home or business comfortable year round.
